Its just five more steps for Vickers no comments
With Rachel being voted off from the show, Diana Vickers succeeded in making to the final round with five contestants left in the Saturday’s X factor show, much to the relief of fans, friends and well wishers of the 17 year old from East Lancashire.
The last performance of Vickers proved to be quite a success where she sang Patience resulting in two major music industry giants namely Gary Barlow of Take That and Simon Cowell, the X Factor giant literally becoming engaged in a fight to get her sign a record deal. Amidst unanimous applause from all the judges, Barlow openly commented that he is more than ready and willing to ‘snap’ her up for a deal, a comment which was of course not taken in too kindly by Simon Cowell who simply set the idea aside tough praising Vickers equally for her performance.
Incidentally, this week’s performance for Vickers also marked for her the end of a real lowdown two weeks where she missed one due to an attack of laryngitis and following it in the next with a really disappointing show making things worse for her. However, coming right back on track this week and making it to the next level, she made it a point to thank her fans and well wishers for supporting her throughout the crisis period as her parents too seemed happy for her success.
The coming episode will see the contestants sing two tracks on the theme American Classics and Britney Spears.
